Tulco, Inc. is a manufacturer of SuperHydrophobic FUMED and PRECIPITATED SILICA products for use in the SILICONE RUBBER, ADHESIVES, SEALANTS, COATINGS, EPOXY, POWDERED METALS, TEXTILE, COSMETIC    and OTHER INDUSTRIES. Tulco, Inc. is also a manufacturer of SUPER HYDROPHOBIC COATINGS used on RADOMES, ANTENNAE, SATELLITE DISHES, OTHER ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT AND VARIOUS POLYMERIC SUBSTRATES. Tulco was founded in 1974 by a few associates who had nearly 30 years experience in plastics, rubber, textiles and fine particle technology. It was formed for the purpose of serving the then emerging market for surface-treated fine particles particularly silicas. It has continued in this field up to the present day, and while remaining a small company, has been responsible for a number of process innovations and new product introductions.

1.) The top sheet of glass is coated with Tullanox® Notice the water droplets remain round. Bottom sheet of glass is untreated.

2.) Addition of small amount of  Tullanox® converts the lumpy, caking material on left to the free-flowing powder on right.

3.)When extraordinary water resistance is required in caulks and sealants Tullanox® does the job.

Tullanox® can provide anti-caking, anti-settling, dispersibility, anti-foaming, viscosity-control, thixotropy and improved water resistance in specialty lacquers varnishes, paints, polyurethanes, epoxies and other coatings.
